This stuff is amazing!!! I bought it before going to Wyoming this summer. I used it almost every time I went outside. I spent time wading through beaver ponds, which were infested with millions of mosquitos. I did not get one single bite. I spent alot of time outside in high mosquito areas and never got bitten. It goes on a little greasy, but not too bad. Way better than the bites. Also, I sprayed it on my clothes, and on the lighter cotton fabrics it made oil spots, but those came out in the laundry. I will never go to a place known to have mosquitos without it again!!!

I was primitive camping in North Florida with 5 of my friends and brought this along. I figured I would need something tough as I was being chewed alive in the city, so I know I was doomed in the woods.
Sure enough, we were swarmed. I put this on and aside from an occasional bump by a passing bug, nothing bit me. Ticks were falling out of the trees and onto my clothes only to look for a very quick way to get away from me.
The down side to this product is that it leaves the usual film on you, burns the crud out of your face and neck and isn't large enough for more than a few days out in the woods.

We use this for regular camping and hiking in the US. It work's wonderfully for our needs. We like the small compact design. It fits in our hiking belt perfectly. The red cap makes easy to find with flashlights.

I read the reviews and bought this product because of the effectiveness it had on African insects. I took a "pump spray" bottle with me on a recent trip to Africa. The spray stains clothing, runs from the spray nozzle down your hands, and is not very effective. I ended up throwing the bottle in a waste basket after applying the spray before a game drive and an hour into the drive I was attacked by Tsetse Flies. My friend that used another brand of 100% deet (which did not leave stains in his clothes) was not attacked by the Tsetse although he was standing a few feet from me when I was bitten 6 times. I do NOT recommend this spray when compared to other high deet content sprays.

Great product.Does it's job perfectly , with very low odor.Used it during my trip to the Maldives where mosquitos are very common but they stayed away from me this time.Thankyou Maxi Deet.Highly recommend it!
