Getting Ready
Supplier was great. Communication good. Delivery was timely. (I am not a Doctor or EMT) This kit is a first aid kit, not an operating room in a bag. It will you help clean, dress and hold things together until you get real medical attention. For it's size and cost it's a great addition to a first aid kit. Suggestion - Buy some additional butterfly bandages and put them in the kit.

This kit is small and well thought out. It will equip a properly trained responder to manage many deep extremity, and some shallower trunk, neck, and face injuries without suturing. Just remember that it is intended as a first aid adjunct, not as a complete kit, nor as a tool for definitive treatment. It does not include instruments for debriding or suturing. It includes a clean (not sterile, which is actually not a problem in this context) 10 ml syringe for irrigation. However, it does not include irrigation solution. This makes sense, as irrigation solutions expire, making it impractical for the supplier to include them. The user will need to acquire and store that separately (there is not enough room in the supplied carrying pouch for even a 50 ml vial).
